Timber is a procedural wood material created using Blender’s node system, which means that by changing a few parameters, you can totally change how the material looks. There are two versions, a Pro version that has all the features but does not support Eevee and a Lite version has been pulled back to be Eevee compatible but does lose several features in the process. Some important functions include an infinitely scaleable, non-repeating texture. Randomly laid boards. The option to switch from straight-lay to herringbone. Knots. Cupping. Minor and major grain detail. Colouring. Fine control over roughness and bump and more. Each comes with documentation to give more insight.
Both can be downloaded for free from Gumroad: https://gumroad.com/l/ProceduralTimber
Alternatively, for $5, you can get them on Blender Market: https://gumroad.com/l/ProceduralTimber
